Our goal

Over the years, the British and American customs and traditions have become famous world wide. On the one hand, we usually think of the British people as polite, patient enough to line up on queues, love drinking their five o´clock tea with scones or pancakes, eat fish and chips, wear bowler hats, love flowers, practise sports, have become known all over the world for their bands, their food, their festivities and typical English breakfast.
On the other hand, we have also become aware of some of the American way of living, their eating habits and
customs over the years through Hollywood movies and magazines.

New Year in Jardim

After Christmas, we celebrated the famous Portuguese "dia dos Reis" with a special breaktime lunch where children ate dried fruits while they wore their king´s paper hats.
